Step 1
Push the plunger out of the chamber and place the filter in the filter cap.

Step 2
Twist the filter cap onto the chamber and stand the chamber on a sturdy mug.

Step 3
Add a heaping scoop, or 14g, of fine ground coffee and shake gently to level coffee.

Step 4
Add water up to 1 on the chamber. The water should be at 200 °F for hot brewing.

Step 5
Stir about ten seconds for hot brewing and one minute for cold brewing.

Step 6
Insert plunger and press gently, pausing when you feel resistance, until the plunger reaches the grounds. Remove filter cap, push plunger to eject used coffee, and rinse the seal.

Step 7
Espresso style—drink as is. Americano—add water to make an 8oz cup. Café latte—add milk to make an 8oz café latte.
